The LDS Temple Trip . . .

Elder McEwan did much preparation and was worthy to enter the Provo Temple on Saturday, November 24, 2012. What great support he had with the many family members who were able to attend! What an awesome experience to be given so many blessings from our Heavenly Father.

The Call . . .

What an awesome experience to receive that big white envelope in the mail! Elder Sean Michael McEwan received such an envelope on Wednesday, September 5, 2012. As Sean opened the envelope and scanned the first paragraph he got the biggest smile on his face and simply said, "Now this is gonna be fun!" Everyone was excited to hear what the letter had to say.

Sean had been issued a call to be a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Micronesia Guam Mission, which was signed by President Thomas S. Monson! There were many squeals and comments such as "Guam, where's that?" Friends and family made guesses as to  where Sean would serve, but no one guessed Micronesia Guam. What an awesome adventure Elder McEwan and our family have ahead!

 

We had time to get passport pictures taken and then it was off to college at BYU Idaho for the semester and to continue to prepare both spiritually and temporally to be a missionary.
